Jake's finally starting to shed! That makes me very happy, because now I know spring is finally coming.

Yes - his nails are black. But the tips were white - so I just cut off the white parts. I still think he needs more off, though because he clicks when he walks on the hardwood floors - isn't that how you tell? I'll try again today. I need to get some of that powder that stops bleeding but I haven't bought any yet.

I'm going to trim the hair on his feet today too - I hope I don't end up making him look stupid, but I want to do it myself instead of taking him to the groomer.
