My dog Buddy (R.B.) took Cosequin DS for 7 years. It has

Contents: Chewable Tablet
Glucosamine HCL 99+% 500 mg
Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate 95%
Mixed Glycosaminoglycans 5% 400 mg
Ascorbate (Manganese Ascorbate) 33 mg
Manganese (Ascorbate) 5 mg

He was later switched to Synovi-MSM by his vet. It has MSM*

(Methylsulfonylmethane) 800 mg.
Glucosamine 500 mg. , Perna Canaliculus 300mg. & Vitamin C
10Mg.
I honestly think he did better on the Cosequin.
