That's true, but only raw meat and/or eggs can cause samonella
samonella is EVERYWHERE, their is NO such thing as a salmonella free anything. my dogs are on a totally raw diet and it saved their lives. happy almost died from a non-raw diet(tryed several types of, including homecooked), shadow was so sick that we almost put her down to get her out of her misery. that was 2 years ago, happy now has a an amazing immune system, shadow no longer has ANY of the ailments she preveisly had, she acts like a puppy again. Ripley went from dull coat and being very pugy and lazy to a glossy coat, very muscular, and fast and agile. perky is just plain out healthier, and misty went from a dull flaky coat, and being stinkie when we got her, and now she has a glossy coat and does not smell at all. anybody who says that raw meat is no good, and has no benifet has never seen a dog fed a proper raw diet, either that or they are extremly close minded
