Hi everyone,
Today in Indianapolis, the Marion County
Search and Rescue contingent came home to a
hero's welcome in downtown Indy.The Firefighters and S&R Teams were in New York
hours after the disaster,and just today were
able to be reunited with their families.The
event was widely covered in the local media,
and one scene on T.V. showed all personnel
standing for the Governor's remarks while
the camera panned down to show a little girl
kneeling next to a yellow Lab(K9 rescue).
When she reached out to the Lab,the dog
laid on it's side for a belly rub from the
child..It was quite a picture!!!
