I had to do this with my Maya. She's a very high strung , sensitive and intense cat and it helped. It too stopped and started and now things have been good for a few months. My parents have been staying with me for the winter and are going back north in a few weeks . In anticipation of problems with Maya I"m going to give her the medication a few days before they leave and for a few days after.
