P.S. Rats are OMNIVORES! It is very wise to feed your rats meat from time to time to keep them nice and healthy. My guys get a little bit of deli meats (turkey, ham, etc), hamburger (cooked), and other yummy meat items. Just the other day they had some roast beef for dinner/a treat.

We used to have a "pet" squirrel at our old house too. We named him Stumpy because half of his tail was missing; it was stumpy.
