Tikeyas mom! I knew you could do it! In the last pictures I saw of them, they looked so scared. Now they look so happy! Cheeko looks very happy in the first pic and I just LOVE Spanky's coloring! He's one of the cutest keets I've ever seen!

Just a small note:

I noticed in the first pic that Cheeko's beak seems slightly overgrown. The cause of an overgrown beak is commonly a sign that something is missing from their diet. Do you have cuttlebone and something for him to rub his beak on to keep it trim..........like a lava rock? You can get a lava rock from Petco or Petsmart and it works wonders in keeping their beaks trim and in good condition. It is usually recommended to take a bird with an overgrown beak to the vet to have it trimmed. That will make it easier for him to eat, and it may make his bite less ouchie. I believe you should consider taking him for a beak trim or at least call the vet and ask about it. Do NOT do it yourself. Otherwise he looks very healthy and happy. Keep on working with them and hopefully, someday, they will be the friendliest birdies around. I told you they're not impossible to tame. I also told you that parakeets are very easy to tame. SPanky just proved that. Way to go Spanky and Cheeko! You're both very cute!
