Ann, have you had a complete evaluation done by a veterinarian? If not, it might be something to think about before considering euthanasia.

There are so many things that could be causing these problems: a bladder or urinary tract infection, for example, or CUSHINGS Disease, a more complicated condition, but one which does sometimes respond to medication. Also, many older animals suffer from diabtetes and this can be controlled with insulin. (one of the symptoms is almost constant urination).

I hope you will consider a medical evaluation before putting your dog down. If something can be done, I am sure you will do it, as I have noticed that your posts have always been of a very caring nature...just my humble opinion and advice, for what it is worth.
