Hoping and praying Anna. I would certainly check out some ref.s, their vet, neighbor, etc. and ask some basic questions about their dog experience, their yard, (fenced, kennel, etc.) daily routine (left home alone most of day, for how long) But, if you don't get a quick response or if they "bristle" at your asking them some basic questions, move on, if you have another potential adopter. Most people who are truly sincere about adopting welcome such questions because they are pleased to know you care where/to whom the dog is going!! Please update when you can.
