I have three different kinds of dogs and they all shed.

Max, the dachshund sheds little black needle hair - lots of them. They just aren't as noticeable because they are small.

Carly, the mixed shepard sheds buckets and bags of hair all year round. We brush her if not daily at least every other day to keep it at least under control. We get Carly bunnies, not dust bunnies.

And last, but not least Molly the yorkie sheds fine hair like humans.

I brush them all with different kinds of brushes depending on their coat. We try to make it a nice quiet thing, a treat. Some like, some don't.
