I kind of agree with those before me as well. Is there maybe a less expensive clinic you can take him to instead? I know it does get very expensive, but teeth problems in cats are horrible for them to endure.

You can brush his teeth at home, if he will allow you. That can really help. But your kitty may have some other problem that requires more than that...kind of like us when we go to the dentist.
