If you aren't going to care for a pet, why have one in the first place? A pet isn't a toy, it's living creature that require responsibility. Money is just little pieces of paper while your cat has been your friend for his best years and now you are refusing to help him? That's not fair!
I know vets can be expensive but don't you think your friend deserves it? He needs you to help him, please don't fail him.
