I got a reply.. and darn it - she's good with other cats and she's healthy!!! GRR!!

Hi Naomi,
Yes, Harmony is a pretty easy-going, adaptable little girl. She lives with other cats at the shelter and they all get along beautifully. She's the youngest in there. She's had her basic F3 series, you would have to get the rabies shot for her and the FeLV shot too (I think), our group can't afford the full series for every cat. Harmony hasn't been tested for FIV/FeLV. We don't test kittens, I believe they can't be accurately tested below a certain age. But we have no reason to think Harmony would have/carry any viruses, she and her siblings were a healthy bunch when they came to us. If you wanted to adopt her you could have her tested and if any health concerns are found, we would take her back. Harmony has shown no preference as to friends, she plays equally with the girls and the boys in her area.
If you'd like to meet her you could visit the shelter during our open hours on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00. (Visits at other times can be arranged by phoning ahead.) If you'd like to know more about Harmony you should call our shelter coordinator, Carol, at 604-467-4493. She knows more about their personalities, health and history than I do.

The shelter is at 11540 240th Street in Maple Ridge, about 2 km north from Lougheed; 1 km south from Dewdney Trunk. On the west side of the street are new homes. On the east side you'll see older homes and a horse pasture. We're beside the horse pasture at 11540. The address is fairly well marked on a carved wooden sign by the road. We're in a red barn half way down the drive, just behind the house.

Thanks for asking about Harmony. I hope it works out.
Brigitta

I think I'm going to have Nathan call. *sigh* hehe
