Samantha finds him entertaining. She is a well-behaved older cat who doesn't try to jump at him.
The worst thing she does is sit under his cage and stare at him and he will get very very quiet when she does that.

We have let him out of the cage in the summer when Samantha was either outside or downstairs in the basement and he flew laps between the kitchen and living room
(he had clipped wings when we got him but we let them grow out so he could fly if he ever was out of his cage when Samantha was in the room).
He likes me because I give him his food and water and clean his cage, he lets me stroke his back, wings and tail when I need to get in his cage.
But he has this love/hate thing going with my husband where he will whistle with him and call to him and then try to peck his hands.
I think T-bird is a girl since the beak has changed color from blue to brown in the past year and that would explain why he/she is drawn to my husband.
I think I will go with photo number 3 and put the gender as unknown when I submit the photo for Pet of the Day. Now I have to work on writing up T-bird's story.
