My experience with bettas have been that they are fine as long as there are no fish in the tank with long fins, like angel fish. If you have a lear tail mollie (the ones with the long fancy fins) then the betta might attack it because it sees it as a threat. If it's the standard molly, he should do fine with them.



Batgirl1980 is absoultly right about the sharks. I have a rainbow shark now that is supposed to be friendly, but he's definantly not! The red tailed sharks are the worst. Irredecent sharks seem to be really friendly, but they can get really big and could start eating smaller fish.

Have you ever thought of getting a female betta? They're not as pretty, but they are passive and get along better with other fish.
