My mom had a male and female teil. The girl laid a bunch of eggs, but none of them were fertile. We think the poor old male was too old (he was almost12). Anyways, I've heard that birds are really picky about breeding. We knew this guy who bred teils and he said it was pretty hard sometimes, some birds never breed for whatever reason. Apparently the curcustances have to be just right, the perfect nesting and such. well, I know I'm not much help, but I tried LOL.
