I went to Florida in Feb one year, and it was SOOO nice. We were walking around in t-shirts, and the people at our hotel were covering the plants because they thought "the cold would damage them" and they were wearing parkas. It was really windy that day.. we were like, "just a little breeze.. no biggie!!" It was pretty nippy in the shade, though. I didn't need a jacket or anything.
Most of our plants are dead because we didn't cover them this year, it got down to 30! I LOVED it too.
