Our friend just got his doggie fixed. She is 8 or 9 years old. He never did it because he thought it would 'change' her personality. I'm not sure why the vet didn't tell him to do it. He has had the same vet all along. She never did have any pup's. She is doing fine now. And it didn't 'change' her personality, if it did - it was for the better
