I have blue eyes, not sky-blue like my Swedish Grandpa, more of a pale grey-blue like my English/Yankee mongrel Grandpa. Like my Swedish Grandpa, though, my eyes have a very dark ring around the outer edge, then blue. I am the only blue-eyed kid of my siblings, my sister and younger brother have dark brown eyes (like my Mom) and my older brother has funny-colored eyes - hazel of varying shades - like my Dad's.

I have met very few people with eyes I would consider green. Many people who say they have green eyes, I would say have hazel eyes, but that's not nearly as "trendy" a color, I suppose. I am an artist by training and notice such things!
