I can't even imagine how cool it would be to have all those beautiful kitties - I never lived in a multi-cat household, so I don't have the difficult decisions to make, like which one do I smooch first, and how do I get all 4 of them up on my lap at the same time?
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

Kelly, you sure have four precious furkids. You are so lucky.
I don't know about a 4 cat household, but in a certain 2 cat household, this poses quite a problem. If Tubby is on my lap, Peanut won't come near. If Peanut is on my lap and Tubby walks up, Peanut's gone. Tubby was my first, and he knows it and lords it over her, and is very jealous of any attention I pay to her - although he has gotten much better about this as he has gotten older. On the very rare occassion, I will have Peanut on my lap and she won't notice Tubby walking up, so I can sneak him up, but I have to hold her down. Then I have pure bliss for about 2 seconds before she's had enough and takes off. Ah well, such is the life when you have a finicky little girl and a big bully boy in the house.Originally posted by All Creatures Great And Small
