Peach is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Dick has had at least one or more Chessy since he was a kid. Good family dog once they learn that you are the alpha. Great with kids (if you start out with a puppy). Very protective of the kids.

Peach is actually my 27 year old son's dog. He couldn't take her when he left home, so she's still with us. But let him walk in the house and we cease to exist in her eyes. She bats her eyelashes at him, leans on him, follows him around - it's really quite funny to watch.
