I'm so glad she is home. She's bound to feel better there and so will you. Had the infection affected her hearing? I sure hope all the tumors are out and it's all over but the healing. Prayers will continue.

I'm glad you have such a competent doctor taking care of Murphy. It sounds really scary, what had to be done. I hope she rests comfortably (and all of you, too) tonight. I'll be praying for good results.

Connie, she is totally deaf. Now we are wondering if this is why. I just don't know. It will be interesting to see how she is after the healing happens. Wouldn't it be something if she could hear???

Logan, thank you for the full explanation of the surgical procedure.

This is one of the most beautiful things about Pet Talk. No matter what kind of pet we might have - we are able to share our experiences - illnesses - outcomes and all of us are learning so much about our pets. By your explanation, that is what you gave us today - all of us could learn something new.

We have so many new members and I hope that all of them are able to follow these threads and join us in our caring and sharing.

In the meantime, poor baby Murphy! We will keep right on praying.

Our beautiful Murphy couldn't be in more capable and caring hands...Dr. Robinson and the Bagley family. Thank you for the update. Her ordeal is something we can all learn from. I hope she sleeps well tonight and that the pain medic. gives her some relief. I know she'll not be wanting for love. Bless you sweet girl. Sleep well and feel better very soon. So many love you and are pulling for you.

I'm so glad to hear that Murphy made it through the surgery so well. You are so lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor--he is such a blessing.
I'll still be praying for Murphy, but I'm so glad to hear the good news.
Your description was great--I often wonder what someone is talking about, and I understand what you mean.
Give Murphy lots of extra kisses, one from me.

    Mother's instincts

So glad that you followed your gut feeling to have Murphy seen by your other vet. One thing we can all benefit from is to listen to that inner voice that speaks loudly and clearly if we take the time to listen.

Rest easy tonight Murphy. Your being cared for by those who love you dearly.

So glad you came through the surgery OK, and that you have a loving Vet to take care of you - not to mention your loving parents.

Logan, I am glad that Murhpy is home now and that she did well with her surgery. Dr. R sounds like a wonderful vet and I am so glad that you took her there.

The poor girly must be uncomfortable now, but hopefully she will heal quickly and start feeling better very soon!

Finger, toes, and paws crossed for the biopsy results.

Murphy is still in my thoughts!

    Welcome Home Murphy!

Glad to hear it all went smooth with the operation.
I'm glad you went into detail, otherwise I wouldn't have really understood.
We're all crossing our fingers that all is fine with the biopsy. She will be in my prayers.
Now when you say her head is all bandaged up, surely it wasn't this bad was it
J/K! Hope the sweetie isn't in too much pain. Take care of that girl Logan!

    Sweet Murphy,
It's so good to know you came out of your surgery with flying colors. Hope you had a good rest last night and that you'll be doing your dance number very soon. A big and gentle hug to you.

Rough morning. I gave her the medication to help her rest, and left for about two hours. When I came home, she had pushed the bandage all the way back around her neck. Both ears were exposed. Dr. Robinson is not open on Thursday afternoon. Was able to pull both ear flaps back up on her head and get the bandage back over them and the incision, but if she is doing this on day one, what will she be doing by next week? It was not a painless effort either, although I was trying to be so careful with her. She has had more pain medication and is sleeping again.

I'll have to get her a cone if she keeps this up. I'm going to try pinning a big rolled towel around her neck first, when Helen gets home and see if we can protect those ears from her toe nails.

In the meantime, Butter brought Mouse #6 into the house while I was gone. And it was alive. My poor little cleaning lady happened to see it and got it back out. That's two "live" entries and four dead ones now, in one week.

I'm tired. Is it Friday yet??

Yikes..poor uncomfortable, sweet adorable girl..... I know you have a busy weekend planned...sounds like a cone is in order. How are Lily and Honey reacting to her??? After all is said and done, wouldn't it be amazing if Murph can hear again? Thank God for Dr. R, he sounds like a saint. I hope and pray the biopsies come out negative... Cody and I are crossing paws and digits for our "kissin cousin".
