There is definitely inflamation in the lower intestines now. Supposedly it wasn't there during the first week or so of this mysterious situation. Anyway... the specialist thinks he has irritable bowel syndrome. It could be from something he ate and be a one time deal or it could be something he will continue to have for the rest of his life. If it is continual then he will be on a very strict diet. The vet mentioned California Natural would be a good choice of foods for him regardless.
I went and saw him last night. He has lost 12 pounds and his face is starting to get that sunken look to it. His ribs and backbone are showing very predominantly. I wanted to cry but just managed to hug and kiss him so I wouldn't get Kathi crying too.The specialist has him on prednisone and said it could be about another week before he starts eating again.

I don't think he is in pain (at least not excruciating pain). He is very week though.Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. They are comforting!
