Joxer does this too We put his away and just take it out occasionally so that he doesn't wear it out. How old is Hayley? Joxer doesn't play with his as much now as when he was younger so Hayley might start playing with it less as she gets older.

Isn't it the funniest thing ever? No other cat in my house plays with it this way. It is really his special toy. He knows the sound of the closet door where I hide it and comes running when the door opens.
