I don't think I could bring myself to disturb him with an intrusive thermometer, not when he looks so sweet all curled up in the sun.......
I wonder if you can use those ear-type thermometers on kitties; the ones they sell now for kids. Any vet techs out there know the answer to that question? Anyway, I sure hope Grammy Crackers feels better soon. It must be odd to have such a quiet kitty around when you're used to craziness. (Around here, it's just the opposite

Another thing - since they're coming up with more and more medicines given by patch, I think they should try to develop veterinary meds in patch form. You could just shave a little bit back by their shoulders, where they can't lick, and put on an antibiotic patch, instead of stressing the poor kitties out even more when you're trying to help them. Maybe someday.......
