popcornbird, I read the same posts and see everyone here agrees as Richard said, "We are not a perfect country."

   Richard has been talking about saving lives. The "blah blah blah stuff" is key to understanding.

   FYI, The US has been attacked far more often than two times. The War of 1812 springs to mind first. The Japanese in WWII attacked far more US soil than just Pearl Harbor. They captured the Kiska and Attu islands.

   In addition, the recent deadly Anthrax attack should be kept in mind.
