Carbon - I am glad you have found your way into a much better life with your owner! It sounds like you have gone through some hard times but that you have a great spirit, a strong determination and a loving owner who will do the best for you! I know that it's been a while, but I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that Carbon died on Aug. 4, 2005. It was complications of cholangiohepatitis - possibly brought on by pain meds and the chemo. He did manage to be in my wedding as best dog, which was an important thing for me. He didn't suffer much at the end, but endured 3 rounds of the hepatitis...

He lived to be 10 1/2 years old, not bad for a 3rd world mutt. We miss him terribly and even after all of this time, it is difficult to deal with. Please eat some fries in his honor. Thanks for all of the happy notes posted about him.
