Dry itchy skin - I can relate to that! I have been treating Buddy with cortisone and Benadryl. He has bad hot spots this winter and won't leave them alone.
I have only heard of the human type of scabies - that can really spread if untreated. All bedding etc. would have to be washed down as part of the treatment. Do what Dixie suggested and do a web search.
