'Course, he was in that spot all the time before the pad, but now I like to think he goes there because of the pad. Probably wishful thinking on my part, but he does seem to enjoy it. Guess I'll have to move it tonight to see if he'll move with it.![]()

Oh if twer only that easy! I put something new in one of Ritzy's usual sleeping spots and she just finds another sleeping spot. I even left one of those sheepskin things for months, she stopped sleeping there...so I moved it, and of course, she's sleeping there again.
The Purr Padd is also not without it's mystery. She loves the one in the upstairs office window, so I decided to put the second (came in a 2 pack) downstairs, as you said, to keep the black fur at bay that tends to collect like little feline "crop circles" on the various favored furniture. Of course, she wanted nothing to do with THIS particular purr padd..she shoved it off onto the floor. However, said purr padd has since become one of her favorite "toys" She runs crazy into the room and "hides" under it, lying in wait (except for that big butt and tail that stick out) for an unsuspecting mommy toe!
About the only thing I can use as a sure-fire lure is a towel warmed up in the dryer (yup, major spoiled cat here)...that is the only way I can lure her into my lap, also. b ut at night, when she wants to get warm, she crawls into bed with me and curls up by my side.
Ritzy's motto "I'll get what I want, when I want, how I want it" ...repeat after me I AM THE CAT!
