I was so moved, Annie, reading your Mom's tribute to her beautiful girl, her heart kitty; learning how finally, her lifelong wish to have a kitty of her very own came to be! And oh, how well worth the wait it was, for a human couldn't hope for a kitty more beautiful, more devoted and loving, sweeter than you, Annie! Yes, you were the last among your littermates to be chosen, but fate will have its way! Your Mom knew the moment she laid eyes on you that you were the one, a case of love at first sight for her and for you!
Annie was the last one who hadn't been promised to anyone yet, and I was in love with her before I even met her.
Just one night was all it took for you to realize that you were home to stay, with the human meant to yours, and the rest is happy history!
What a Torti treasure you are, Annie, just as sweet as can be, beautiful inside and out! Your Mom and Dad, and fur sister Layla, are all so very blessed, having a furry family member as special as you in their lives! You're the best, sweetheart, one in a million, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!When I picked her up, she was so scared. I held her and pet her while my boyfriend drove us home, and when we let her out in my bedroom she ran and hid under my bedside table, where she curled up and went to sleep. I let her hide until she felt safe. Later that night, she hopped into bed with me and curled up to go to sleep. Since then, she's grown to love both me and my boyfriend whom we now live with. She is the sweetest cat I have ever met. She never stops purring.
