Lovely Liliana!
Dearest Liliana, what a lovely young lady you are indeed! You're a beautiful blue tortoiseshell kitty, just a year old. Your fur looks so very soft and its coloring is gorgeous, all those shades of blue and grey and orange and white in such an interesting design. You have the sweetest face with that cute two-tone nose and the perky ears and those lovely big yellow-green eyes. Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us! They show off your beauty and personality and spirit so well. Your dear person Ryan is a very talented photographer, but with such a stunning model, how could he miss? I wish I could reach through the screen and all the way to Minnesota to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Ryan will pet you for me .
And what a terrific story you have to tell! You are Ryan's very first cat of his own. He got you as the first pick of your litter when you were just a kitten. He chose you because he loved your coloring. Since you've been home with him, you've been teaching him all about "tortitude." You have the most delightful personality! You're full of energy, and you make him smile with your antics. You love chasing string (please don't swallow any!), knocking cups over, running into the hallway, and eating Ryan's chicken nuggets. You have a strange habit he can't figure out: when he goes into his closet, you freak out and climb up his pants, shirt, all the way to his head. He wonders if perhaps his closet is haunted! You and he love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Liliana, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Ryan and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats and maybe a special serving of chicken nuggets. My Tortie Angels Poppy and Galaxy are rejoicing with you!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
