So sorry folks, busy day today, I will update the pets later tonight for tomorrow.

And I promise Emu pictures as well. Their names are Winston and Wilhelmina, and they are now very friendly!

So sorry folks, but today's Pet(s) of the Day, Dog of the Day and Cat of the Day are now up!

It has been so busy lately on the farm, my apologies.

All is well, just busy.

And this afternoon we - and 12 other towns, unexpectedly lost power mid afternoon for quite a while, further delaying getting the sites up. It was a brilliantly sunny day, but windy ... so who knows, maybe tree limbs came down, bringing power lines with them.

Dagnabbit - another busy day, everyone's okay, but I will not have chance to update the sites until later tonight, so I will make them Thursday's honorees.

So sad, an older friend who adopted one of our kittens now has to move where he cannot take her with him, so I am working on finding her a new home. She's over a year old now, and it is breaking his heart to give her up, but his eyesight is failing, and he cannot stay where he is any more. He has macular degeneration in both eyes.

So sorry everyone. Today has been exceedingly stressful and difficult, and certains situations (involving humans, not the animals) are still not resolved. I hope to get the pets updated tomorrow.
