Oh, what a happy Christmas Day that was, the best ever, the day your young human finally had her/his dream of being a Golden mom/dad come true! I can just imagine the look on her/his face, the surprise and joy she/he experienced that moment she/he laid eyes on you! (Moms and Dads are sneaky that way, saving the biggest and best for last!)

Christmas day I woke up and walked downstairs, doing the routine search for a dog. Previous years had landed me a stone sculpture of a Golden, a stuffed Golden from F.A.O. Schwartz, and other small figurines and pictures. My dad always hides a big gift in his room, so my two brothers and I walked in, me lagging behind and moping, until I saw the tubby bundle of yawning fur peek out from under the bed. I was speechless.
Stone sculptures are nice, but nothing beat the real thing! And there's no doubt that in you, Harley, your young human has been blessed with the best! How lucky she/he is, having a beautiful, smart and playful, loyal and loving best friend for life in you, sweetheart! You truly are a treasure, the best gift ever, perfection on 4 paws!
