    MEOW!!!, Randi!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Things appear to have settled down between the girls this evening, much more quickly than I'd thought they would! Sparkler seems to be back to being her normal self, and Tinker is exploring all over. (I have many things I'm going to have to move around or conceal, because unlike Sparkler or Galaxy, Tinker can and does go everywhere.) Earlier they were both resting nearby, Tinker on the floor next to my chair here, and Sparkler on the floor maybe six feet away. No growls or hisses, that I could hear anyway.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I am happy for you and your new friend. It is great and pleasant when a person finds a pet for himself and the animal feels great in a new home. I don't understand people who take an animal and then kick it, mock it. When an animal is taken but why. It seems to me that taking an animal is not much inferior in responsibility with the decision to have a child. In both cases, it is a responsibility.

    MEOW!!!, Kay!

You're absolutely right, Kay. Adopting an animal is as much a responsibility as having a child. No matter which, he/she is a member of the family.

    Thank you!
