Farmer's Market days are so must, and this day was complicated by being Juneteenth - so extra items to celebrate/mark that day, plus we have the new chicks to keep alive and happy, and Kermit made an amazing wreath to hang in the booth for the day. I will take a picture of it tomorrow during daylight hours, it's now hanging outside our front door.
There are just not enough hours in the day. Baby Boo is growing every day, Coffee and Lilly have three goslings that are very well defended, and I am taking pictures to share - though not of Boo today, as he was too busy trying to check us - a young friend who gave me a ride home after market - and I out. His little horn nubbins are already starting to grow! He is curious and sweet and strong - everything a growing water buffalo should be.
Oh, and we have two new unusual residents at the farm - refugees from the closing of Marlboro College. And elder turtle. whose name we will be changing, and an elder ball python, who seemed to remember Kermit from his time there so many years ago. Both are in their own habitats, so not worries about predation. Though the ball pything has already enjoyed a dead mole the cats killed and left lying around, so nothing will be wasted!
