Evinrude the Excellent

Dearest Evinrude, you are gorgeous! What a stunning example of a Domestic Longhair kitty you are! Thank you for sharing that great photo with us. You look totally comfortable there in your favorite After-Breakfast Sun Spot on the ivy plant! That long, fluffy fur, mostly white that we see with some orange touches on the back and head and tail, is so luxurious and looks so soft, and you have the sweetest face with the cute pink nose and those lovely big eyes. And what a nice size of a fellow you are! My mostly-orange-with-some-white-touches Domestic Shorthair girl Sparkler says "Hello, Meow!" I wish I could reach through the screen and over to New York to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .

And what a fascinating Purrrsonality you have! You have an impressively loud purr (and I bet the Evinrude Company people would be delighted to know you were named after their motor because of that purr!). You can be cantankerous at times, but other times you're very affectionate and even allow your tummy to be rubbed. You also watch over your family members who become ill, not leaving their side until they feel better. How precious is that! Unlike many cats, you don't mind getting wet and in fact often let the bathroom tap drip on your head!

You're fussy about food and don't like milk, but you enjoy sharp Cheddar cheese treats and Oolong tea with cream and sugar. (To Evinrude's dear Purrrson: Please don't give him the Oolong tea with cream and sugar. Caffeine is very bad for cats. Sugar isn't good, either. Please check this out with his vet!)

And what a devoted family man you are with your "eggs," insisting on having them with you in your bed or when you board at the vet's! You and your Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
