A similar problem to a bladder infection is "blockage" It strikes our male cats and has them produce bloddy urine, if any.

I was just wondering.....after all these years, what would cause a bladder infection now? Is it possibly because he's getting older and can't clean himself as well? He still really does a good job in that dept., but isn't quite as fastidious as he used to be. Any other ideas?
