I've been checking everyday for an update to this story. So
far , nothing in the local paper about finding him. There was an
update on the BC Rescue website that I think was directed to
people in this area;

Update:

HELP! LOST DOG in Accident on I-70
Haskins is a Border Collie
Haskins was in an accident last Friday January 10 along I-70 east of Plainfield. He is a Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue dog that was on his way home to his new family. He is only 12-weeks-old and weighs about 12 pounds, with very fluffy fur that is black and white with tan eyebrows.

We have found our other lost puppy, Kassi at 6 Point Roads and I-70 this last Tuesday. He could be in that area as well.

Please help us find Haskins! If you see him - PLEASE - pick him up. (By the time you call us he could be gone from his location.) Then call 317-251-1998 or the Hendricks Animal Control (in Danville at 317-745-9250)

Look for him around warm places, around dumpsters or restaurants, any place where food may be available. Also - look around your neighborhood - he may seek out a warm place under a porch. He may also seek out a friendly canine companion. Are your dogs barking at anything unusual? It may be Haskins roaming your neighborhood.

Don't be mistaken - dogs CAN survive in this weather - they are smart! If you are helping to search - take FOOD with you! (Real people food like hotdogs or lunchmeat.) Thank you for all of your help - Haskins' new family are waiting for him!!!

I think they haven't given up on finding him & hopeing that
someone might still find him wandering around the area or has
already found him & taken him in as lost.
