    Greetings, Alexis in Prague! Happy Pet of the Day!

    My heart breaks, reading of the tragic loss of your human's beloved childhood Budgie. For years and years she mourned her loss, and despite having had other pets over that time, it wasn't until you came into her life that her heart would heal! What an awesome legacy! How very lucky your human is, having a beautiful, sweet and loving feathered family member, a best friend and heart healer in you, Alexis! You truly are a treasure, heaven sent, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

    Thanks for the BIG smiles, Alexis! Meeting you today has been a real treat! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...playing with your buddy, Felix the bunny, hehe; munching on some yummy Budgie treats; being loved and pampered to pieces by your proud human! Lots of love, cuddles and wee kisses to you, beautiful Alexis, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, EVERY day! Love to dear Felix the bunny, too!

    Dearest Alexis, or Ptáčka, what a gorgeous Budgerigar you are! You have such beautiful, colorful feathers and the sweetest face with the look like you're smiling! Your dear person had a budgie when she was younger, but that birdie flew away. She missed and grieved her very much, and many years later she brought you home. You're very nice and also clever and mischievous, even teasing her sometimes! You get along really well with her bunny Felix, and she loves to watch you and him interact. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you share!

    Congratulations, darling Alexis, on being chosen today's Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear person and Felix and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
