Greetings, Roxanna! Happy Pet of the Day!

What a ravishing, breathtakingly beautiful Cockatoo you are, Roxanna, and oh my, what an amazing homecoming story is yours! It certainly was quite the journey! (I think it's fair to say you were definitely one most wanted girl!) And once settled in, weren't you treated to nothing but the finest in accommodations...deluxe all the way! (Just ask your Dad!) Now I wouldn't recommend that people take on a species as special as yours without first doing the necessary research, but in your case things couldn't have worked out better! No doubt about it, you and your family were destined to be together!

From the beginning, Roxanna has been a very special pet. Had I read the abundant literature about parrots, and cockatoos in particular, I probably would never have purchased her. What a mistake that would have been. She has been a constant joy to us, and I must admit an occasional pest, because she is, as they say, a "love sponge."

Now, add to that happy picture a Poodle named Abby and a kitty named Gypsy (not to mention a few dozen hummingbirds, lol), and your wonderful family is complete! Now, if only I could get myself down to New Mexico to visit your family's cherry orchard (cherries are my favorite), to meet you and watch you greeting your customers, I'd be one happy lady! (Add one more thing to my bucket list!)

How blessed your family is, Roxanna, having a best friend, a feathered family member as beautiful and well mannered, as gentle and loving as you! You truly are a treasure, sweetheart, just as special as can be, simply the best!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Roxanna! Meeting you today has been such fun! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...play chasing Abby; greeting yours customers; munching on some yummy birdie treats and tonight, sitting on that deck with your Mom, watching those hummers! Lots of love to you, beautiful Roxanna, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, EVERY day! Love to dear Abby and Gypsy, too!

Beautiful Roxanna!!!
