You are so,right! I wanted to, I wasn't sure about postage. If I bought a book of American stamps is the postage the same for every state? Then Canada post went on strike, they like to go on strike around Christmas, the devils. Hopefully next year I will stop making excuses as I would really enjoy participating, the giving and receiving! I'll bet you all enjoyed it so much!
I was just wondering if other folks would like to write some poems about their cats or pets. On the appropriate thread of course. I would love to read them, that's for sure. I would also like to know if any long term cat lovers ( peeps over 50) would ever get a kitten again. Talk about a pain in the arse. Lily is 2 and a bit now, and is a juvenile delinquent. Talk about 'tude. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, my husband says. Me too but.......what a tornado, cats a maniac. She's part Bengal, might explain a bit. I think next time we will adopt a cat who's at least one or two.
Absolutely! And we have an old - but fun thread called Cat Haiku, too!
I've Been Frosted
Here is a happy news story about people and their dogs making visits to senior centers. I believe this makes an impact on people. Kids, senior citizens, people experiencing stressful situations, and more. In a previous job we had a therapy dog and her owner visit every other week, and they would sometimes use an elevator near our office to get to another part of the building. That was such a treat, just to have a few minutes in a busy day to love on a beautiful and very well behaved doggie.

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
