Inka is giving up now....... ....

Bad news again......
Inka is giving up.....; she can NOT stand on her feet anymore, she is refusing food and hardly drinks anymore; she just lays there on her blanket or catbed...
She is so lethargic.....
Her CH is really bad now, she cannot stand on her feet or walk to another place. Last night she peed on the carpet, because she didn't manage to reach the litterbox....
The vet thinks she is giving up... . She is going out like a candle....

This is so very sad, we can hardly accept this, since we have already lost 2 of our much loved cats this year.... .
It really is so unfair......

This morning we saw that she needed a pit-stop to the litterbox.
She was trying to walk, but her hintlegs refused to work, and her frontlegs were not strong enough to do the job on their own....
Since then, we put her in the litterbox every few hours,
As she cannot go to where the catfood is being served either, Bernard brings the food and then water to her couch.
She still is't eating enough, but every bit of food she gets in, is better than nothing at all....!
Poor sweet kittycat, it is breaking our heart to see her like this...
Inka has always been our very talkative girl, but now she even hasn't meowed one single time since a few days...
Please sweetheart, do not leave is now, we are NOT ready at all for that

I'm SO sorry to hear this, I know how hard it would be to lose Inka now, after losing Maya and Zazou, and the break-in but it sounds like she has given up. Keep her comfortable as long as you can; perhaps give her water through a syringe, but don't let her suffer.
