How lucky we are, having such a beautiful, most precious and unique Pet of the Day honoree in you, Ms. Fluke! Not a doubt in my mind that a higher power, your guardian angel, led your mommy to you that fateful day she came upon you! As others here have said, the lives of all of God's creatures are important, and so we extend endless thanks to your amazing hero rescuer, your mom, for saving you from certain death, for her untiring, unwavering devotion, doing everything needed to give you a fighting chance! And thanks to her, not only did you survive, but thrived, going on to enjoy the most blessed of lives! Not even your wee clubbed feet, your inability to fly, can keep you from enjoying every minute of life there with your mom, to the max! What an inspirational, life affirming story of survival is yours, Ms. Fluke! You truly are a miracle birdie, a true survivor, one in a million! Your mommy is one lucky lady, having a beautiful, gentle and loving feathered family member, a best friend in you, Ms. Fluke, and I hope that you and she will know many more happy years of shared love and companionship!
