Oh, how perfectly named you are, Candy, for you truly are the sweetest of the sweet (not to mention your gotcha day, and The Boss' birthday, are one and the same, that "candy" is part of one of his most famous songs!

We are so thankful to your furever family for not only choosing rescue, but a special needs kitty to boot (though there's no doubt your limited vision hasn't kept you from living and loving every minute of life, and your furever family, to the max)! How well their compassion has been rewarded, having a beautiful, loyal and loving best furkid in you! And as is so often the case with our rescues, somehow you know just how blessed you are, repaying the love shown you 10 fold!

When she came to live with us, her gratitude for getting her out of the cage she lived in at the SPCA, was so evident in her face and we were all filled with love for her.

Your family knew at first look, at first cuddle, at first purr that you were the one, and how right they were!

We got Candy at the SPCA. At first were looking at some other cats but one of the employees insisted we look at this one-eyed tuxedo cat. We instantly fell in love with her and knew we needed to have her. She climbed into my daughter's arms purring away and we just knew she belonged to us

How lucky your family is, Candy, having a furkid as special as you to call their very own! You do your beloved predecessors...Fattie (a Cat of the Day alumni, 2003), Fee and Anna proud!

Thanks for ending my day with a BIG smile, sweetheart! Meeting you, seeing all of your utterly heart-melting photos, has made my evening! Hope you're enjoying a very special Cat of the Day celebration, sweetheart...playing fetch and watching the wildlife, the world go by from your window perch; fulfilling you duties as official greeter and tonight, cuddling with your skin sisters; being loved and pampered to pieces by your wonderful furever family! Candy I'm so happy for you to hear that you found your forever home with your person, and also you get to have some fun with 2 girls who I'm sure play with you lots!
I also read about Fattie, our special COTD back in June 2003! She was a cutie, and I'm sure Anna and Fee were too! But now they are watching over you, candy. Your people were lonely without cats in their home. But now that they have you, everyone is happy!

What a pretty girl you are, all dressed up in your tuxedo! Ready for the nicest occasion! Your fur looks very smooth and soft to pet!

How wonderful that you chose your family that day at the shelter! You stepped right into your future human's lap and purred, and that was it! Now you have plenty to do each day- being the official greeter, playing with your toys and having fun You look out the window at all that's happening, and then cuddle with your people! PURR-fect!
