I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Belated Happy Canada Day, PT friends! I've got cookies to go with lemonade or tea.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

I'm putting a pot of coffee on, because the fire alarm just went off, we all went outside and it was not a drill. A motor somewhere in the building ceiling overheated and was giving off smoke. So I need a slug of coffee. I'm making decaf because my heart is still pounding. Good news- if I had to pick a day to stand outdoors, it's a nice day for that today.

I'm glad that you're ok, Elyse. Anything fire-related scares me.

I'm with you, Heidi, on both statements!

So glad you're all right, Elyse. And anything to do with fire scares me too.
