    Dog and son

Do your child play with your dogs? What are the precautions or things that you avoid?

It depends on how old the child is, and how old the dog is.

As toddlers, teaching dog what is theirs and the toddler what is his or hers is important! "That's Princess's," we'd say to my niece, and "That's Diane's" we'd say to Princess for example.

Older children can learn little games to play, and most dogs know to adjust the straight of their tug to not bowl a child over.

It really depends on the child and the dog in question though!

I avoid meking him run too much as my dog is 7 years old now. The games are quite popular but he always love them
