As for her name, she actually tries to sing but she's horrible at it, so she kind of got her name out of the irony! She does whistle in her sleep, though!

You may be small in size, Melody, but when it comes to personality and heart you're king-sized! How lucky your human and flock members are, having a beautiful and vibrant, gentle and loving best feathered friend and family member in you!
