What a gorgeous girl you are! Your fluffy coat is beautiful, and your green eyes are stunning - and that tail of yours is quite impressive!

Since you were a tiny kitten, you have been with your mum. You love and trust her unconditionally, and have the closest bond imaginable. How wonderful!

Like the diva you are, you would have liked to be an only cat in the house, but you have two "brothers" who you co-exist with, at least. You are fussy about food, only want the most expensve and luxurious, and I bet that's what you get, just like you deserve.

A good brushing and some catnip is what you enjoy the most, but you also like to talk back to your mum. I bet some snuggle time with her is also on top of your list.

I'm so sorry you have been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer, but I hope you will have much more time and happiness with your mum and your "brothers." Enjoy a day of celebration, get spoiled with catnip, a good brushing, your favourite treats and lots of love, sweetheart!

What a stunning, long haired beauty you are, Freya! And how well you like up to your namesake...Freya, the Norsk goddess of beauty!

How very blessed your mom has been, having known your unconditional love these many, many years. The unconditional love of a furkid truly is one of the greatest gifts given us humans. Not merely a best friend and devoted companion, you are her Cat of a Lifetime.

This is my gorgeous cat Freya. She has been my constant companion and friend since she was a little kitten. Over the years we have become as close as any animal and human can be, she trusts me totally and loves me unconditionally.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your very serious health challenge, Freya. We can only hope for a miracle, but no matter how long a time remains for you and your human, we know that she will be cherishing each and every precious moment with her beautiful Freya, every day a gift.

Sadly my dear friend Freya has been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer. Every day with her is a gift and I make the most of her company while I still can. When the time comes to say goodbye I will be broken hearted, as the unconditional love of a good cat is one of the greatest things in life.

Great thanks to your mom for sharing your heartwarming story, so many heart-melting photos with us, giving us the honor of paying tribute to one VERY special girl. I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration, Freya...a nice brushing and a gourmet meal, going wacky on catnip, hehe, playing with brothers Hugo and Pickles, being loved and pampered to pieces! Dearest Freya, what a beautiful mature lady you are! That long fur is so pretty and fluffy and looks so very soft, and what a sweet face you have, with those long white whiskers and ear-tufts and the lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You are so gorgeous and stately in all of them. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the ocean to Somerset, England to pet you, and pet your 'brothers' Hugo and Pickles, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you all for me .

And what a wonderful, heartwarming story you have to tell! You and your dear Purrrson have been together for more than 15 years now, ever since you were a kitten. You two are as close as any animal and human can be. You trust her/him totally and love her unconditionally. You have a loud purr that can be heard from another room! You meow back when someone says hi to you. You co-exist with Hugo and Pickles but would prefer to be an only cat! You are very fussy about food (as are many cats ), liking only the most expensive and luxurious cat foods, and you love catnip and being brushed.

We are so very sorry for your cancer diagnosis. While we too hope for a miracle, we know you and your dear Purrrson are treasuring every moment you have with each other. Love is eternal, and you are and will be together always. You and he/she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful, love-filled home you have shared and will always share!

What a wonderful girl you are! You meow when someone says hello to you, and your purr can be heard from the next room ! You love catnip, having your beautiful fur brushed, and you have your favorite foods (om nom nom!)! I agree with my friend Randi- I hope you will have much more time and happiness with your caring person and your kitty-brothers!
