We can only imagine how upsetting that was for your human and her/his entire family. But as is so often the case during such trying times, it is the unconditional, quiet love of our animal companions that bring us our greatest comfort. I'm so glad your human had you there by her/his side to comfort her/him when she/he was in need. Nothing like cuddling up beside a soft, furry sausage, the sound of those trademark Cavy wheeks and those soft purrs, to help heal a heart! How lucky your human is, having a comforter and healer, a best friend in you. You're just as special as can be, Wig Wig, a treasure, and so very deserving of you big day of honor!
