Greetings Willem! Happy Dog of the Day!

What a handsome, foxy, oh so adorable Schipperke you are, Willem! It's not that often we have a Schipperke crowned Dog of the Day, so seeing you up on my Dog of the Day screen today has been a real treat! I met my first Schipperke while working at a friend's boarding kennel, and ever since have been smitten with your breed. You kids pack so much spunk, spirit and energy, so much personality and heart into that small frame, and who could resist that foxy face! (Love your breed's history, too!) You may be 10 years young, Willem, but it's clear your still a kid at heart! A veritable firecracker of energy, that you are! And as for your love for food, you could give my Lab a run for the money! (Your mom's too funny, hehe)

What a lucky family is yours, having a furkid as sweet and loving, as special as you in their lives, having known your love and devotion these past 10 years! Your humans truly were blessed the day they chose rescue, the day they chose you to be theirs! You're a treasure, Willem, beautiful inside and out, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!
